As a criminology major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, you'll take five required criminology courses and choose two courses from each of three areas:. Criminology majors can also choose to take an internship. Since this major offers a large number of free electives, criminology majors have the flexibility to take a minor, a concentration, or a double major. Consider adding a foreign language or psychology. One option is a minor in information assurance, which is offered in cooperation with the Department of Computer Science.

Full-time students can complete the program in as little as three semesters. Part-time students typically graduate in two years. With these options, you can earn credits for both programs and complete the MA in one year beyond the BA degree. Our curriculum combines essential information with inventive electives. MA students can receive graduate assistantships. Interested students can apply for a graduate assistantship during the application process.
The assistantship provides a small stipend and funding towards tuition in exchange for work with our faculty.
